Mywork

MyWork is a comprehensive work measuring tool that allows you to plan and measure the productivity of each staff member against actual hours spent on each project. MyWork enables every organization to become more systematic and plan in advance the resource availability. A project can be prepared along with a start-date, an end-date, number of planned hours and billable hours.

Once the project has been prepared, it is assigned to a delivery/project manager along with the resources for the time frame defined. The project is divided into modules and each module is further divided into tasks. Tasks can in turn be defined on the basis of complexity and priority. After the setup is complete, resources of the project can keep updating the status of each task along with actual hours spent. Thereby, the company can track its resources on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.

MyWork enables the Human Resource department to have a clear view of the amount of work load on their resources and the number of resources on the bench. This helps the company to plan and allocate resources to various projects.

With MyWork, the salary details of each employee along with administrative overheads can also be captured. It enables a company to calculate man-hour rate of resources as well as the project cost. It also provides an exhaustive comparative analysis of projects which helps in assessing profit/loss position of various projects

MyWork is also useful in performance appraisal as it provides a detailed report of each resource of the project over six to twelve months period and also shows the current status. For instance, if a resource is on leave or on the bench, the same will be captured.

It also has a built-in security module whereby each employee can login, although access is restricted based on the role defined by the administrator. Roles may range from management, HR, project leader and team leader to team member. Access rights of each role can be configured as per the rules of the company.
